Beautifully soft blues and reds, accented by gold with patterns of leaves and snowflakes on the garments. Santa carries a toy bag with winter bird scene painted on it. A very soft, yet richly decorated woodcarving. This Russian Santa is hand carved from aged solid linden wood, dried for at least 2 years. Once carved and sanded the Santa is hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and signed by the artist.
