Corridor creator and sole designer Dan Snyder works closely with carefully selected partner workshops, including a select group of small carefully chosen factories throughout India. Deeply spiritual, his aim is tocreate transcendent clothing, making the unseen felt by creating a palette of textures and weaving vibrations into cloth. About the process... This piece was produced in Madras, India, in a small workshop that has dedicated over 3 decades to high quality fabrics, crafted in working conditions of the utmost dignity. Melding the 'old with the 'new', their skilled artisans utilise both the latest technologies and traditional local techniques. The workshop partners with a rehabilitation centre for women encountering domestic violence, and provides for its artisans an open air workshop, on-site day care, garden, and living wages.
